Oxford House has been providing a safe and affordable recovery housing program for individuals in Alberta for over 20 years. In fact, Oxford House was the first to open recovery homes in Calgary back in the mid 90s.
When asked why the Oxford House program works in a survey administered in 2015, Oxford House residents responded that they learned life skills to be self-sufficient (90%), benefitted from being around others who also want to be sober (78%) and were given the ability and time to focus on self-care (78%) among other things.
101 people moved out of Oxford House sober in 2016. The Oxford House programs does work. Ask our residents and they’ll tell you that the Oxford House program works when you work your program.
Our qualified support staff are committed to the program because it worked for them. Each one is an Alumni of Oxford House. Each one continues in their recovery. Their lived experience adds to their credibility.
Our Media tab is for ease of use. Hopefully you can find all that you need in this one handy location.
