Oxford House has been providing a safe and affordable recovery housing program for individuals in Alberta since 1995. In fact, Oxford House was the first to open recovery homes in Calgary back in the mid 90s.

When asked why the Oxford House program works in a survey administered in 2015, Oxford House residents responded that they learned life skills to be self-sufficient (90%), benefited from being around others who also want to be sober (78%) and were given the ability and time to focus on self-care (78%) among other things.

107 people moved out of Oxford House sober in 2022.  The Oxford House programs does work. Ask our residents and they’ll tell you that the Oxford House program works when you work your program.

Our qualified support staff are committed to the program because it worked for them. A large percentage are alumni of Oxford House, and all are in recovery. Their lived experience adds to their credibility with Oxford House residents.

Our Media tab is for ease of use. Hopefully you can find all that you need in this one handy location.
